Our vision is to build a strong sense of belonging in an inclusive Õ¬Äе¼º½ that works respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, staff and communities in teaching, learning, research and collaboration.
National NAIDOC Week, 7 – 14 July
National NAIDOC Week (7–14 July) celebrates the histories, cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
Õ¬Äе¼º½ is holding events throughout the week to promote reconciliation.
Reconciliation Action Plan
Through our 2019-2022 Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, we have worked towards addressing the legacies of the past and making a substantial and ongoing contribution to reconciliation. By fostering mutually beneficial partnerships and collaboration, we have shared learning, knowledge, language and culture.
Stretch RAP to be released 2 December 2024
In 2024, we will be launching our new Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan. This plan will further embed reconciliation across Õ¬Äе¼º½,Ìýmaking it business as usual. In this way, the University continues its commitment to become a leader in reconciliation.
