The is celebrating , which promotes sustainable transport, clean energy and – of course – getting down and dirty to .
The annual event is about sharing ideas across disciplines and departments to inspire the Õ¬Äе¼º½ community to create change.
The six-day program has and includes a range of activities from workshops and seminars to classes on living sustainably — many of which were booked out weeks in advance.
Property and Facilities Division Director Mr Alan Egan said Õ¬Äе¼º½ Sustainability Week had something for everyone.
“For those wanting to get their hands dirty and make a positive impact for years to come, tree planting events will be held on the St Lucia and Gatton campuses,” Mr Egan said.
“Students and staff will meet to discuss ideas that could help make Õ¬Äе¼º½ a more environmentally sustainable university.”

Other highlights include tours of the impressive , with a free return shuttle service from St Lucia to Gatton.
Several cycling events, including Improve Your Ride and Back on Your Bike, will help participants explore the benefits of cycling.
Mr Egan said environmental sustainability was a key objective of the University.
“Sustainability Week is just one of many initiatives Õ¬Äе¼º½ is implementing to reduce its environmental footprint and raise awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability.”
