About 120 young science enthusiasts from high schools in south-east Queensland discovered the breadth and depth of science on offer at Õ¬Äе¼º½ this week.
Year 10 and 11 students joined workshops in maths, physics, genetics, neuroscience, anatomy, astronomy, health and safety science, agriculture and nanotechnology during the from 14-16 January.
They met researchers, heard from some of the University’s top scientists and displayed their scientific prowess in a science relay quiz.
The program is designed to provide students interested in science with an opportunity to engage in a wide range of fascinating science activities under the guidance of scientists who love their work.
