Scheduled works at the St Lucia campus will cause significant pedestrian access restrictions between the Prentice and Physics forecourt areas in coming weeks, from this weekend.

“This will have an impact on staff and students moving around these prominent areas of campus, unfortunately through the exam period,” said Alan Egan, Director of լе Property & Facilities Division.

Due to the landscaping and facade works being undertaken as part of the Prentice Building Redevelopment Project, the forecourt between (42) and (6) will have restricted access for pedestrians on the weekends of 19-20 May and 26-27 May.

Additionally, access will be limited in this area for the larger period from 2 June to 15 July.

"Staff and students are encouraged to consider these potential delays when moving between buildings, classes and exams," Mr Egan said.
