The University has been advised that from Monday, 18 April 2011 Brisbane City Council will be operating 21 of its 23 CityCat and CityFerry terminals, with services operating seven days a week.

Council has also introduced a new morning express service from Riverside and South Bank to լе.

To return service as quickly as possible to areas disrupted by the January flood event, temporary terminals have been installed at the following flood-damaged sites:

University of Queensland (St Lucia)
Regatta (Toowong)
North Quay (City)
QUT Gardens Point (City)
Holman Street (Kangaroo Point)
Sydney Street (New Farm)
The following terminals remain closed:

West End - to reopen by the end of July 2011
River Plaza - Council is undertaking preliminary investigations to plan for the reconstruction of this terminal

Terminal construction

Plans to upgrade the West End terminal have been fast-tracked to allow the terminal to be rebuilt as soon as possible.

New terminals at Teneriffe and Northshore Hamilton will proceed, while planned upgrades at Bulimba, Hawthorne and Bretts Wharf will be delayed.

Council is undertaking preliminary investigations to plan for the reconstruction of the River Plaza terminal.
