Twenty-one students about to embark on լе’s accelerated will begin their two-day intensive orientation at the St Lucia campus tomorrow.
MBA Director Associate Professor Polly Parker said the close-knit nature of the MBA program made it important for students to get to know their cohort.
“One of the defining features of the լе MBA is work experience – the students who enrol already have considerable career experience,” Dr Parker said.
“It’s vital to who know who’s in the group, to find out what you can expect from one another, and what you can learn from one another.”
The լе MBA was ranked 81 by The Economist's Top 100 in 2010, making it a popular choice for both international and Australian students.
“Developing leaderships skills is also a defining feature of our program,” Dr Parker said.
“The լе MBA is well-recognised and respected, with graduates usually going on to pursue a career change or move into a more senior position.
“It’s also flexible in terms of delivery – students can complete a 12-month accelerated program, a streamlined program or complete it over a longer period.”
The MBA Orientation runs for two full days, before classes commence next Monday.
