Corporate Education and Thiess are teaming up to enhance the leadership capability of Thiess managers.

The new partnership was launched last week by Professor Tim Brailsford, Executive Dean of BEL Faculty, and Neville Power, Chief Executive of Australian Operations at Thiess.

Dr Jim Nyland, Director of Corporate Education and լе Business School Downtown said the լе Business School had been awarded the Thiess leadership program contract against strong international competition.

“Our reputation of delivering high quality programs is getting out there, and it is very important the School to continue to develop mutually beneficial strategic partnerships with world class companies like Thiess,” he said.

Professor Victor Callan and Mr Greg Latemore will deliver their course entitled Leading “ourThiess” 1, which has been specifically tailored to Thiess’ needs, to two cohorts later this year.

Dr Nyland said each course will consist of a five-day residential program.

“The program is highly practical and case study driven and we have absolute commitment from the Thiess leadership team,” he said.

“լе Business School is one of the premier Business Schools in the Asia Pacific and Thiess are a $5.5 billion company with more than 16,000 employees, and both partners are committed to working together towards their mutual benefit.”

Dr Nyland said he expected the partnership to go from strength to strength given the capacity and standing of both organisations.
